Meet Your Rusty Walker & Lisa McKay Scholars
The Lisa McKay Women in Radio Scholarship will be awarded to Annie Owens of Audacy’s WPAW (93.1 The Wolf)/Greensboro, and Emily Harlan of Alpha Media’s KBAY (Bay Country 94.5)/San Jose.
CRB Scholarship Committee Chairman John Shomby remarked, “This is one of the most satisfying and important parts of our work at CRS. It’s all about introducing new broadcasters to CRS, giving them a chance to network with and learn from some of the best in our business.”
Each recipient will receive a scholarship package, which includes registration, hotel accommodations, and airfare for CRS 2024, as well as recognition during the CRS 2024 week.
DMR/Interactive proudly supports both the Rusty Walker and Lisa McKay scholarship programs, honoring the legacies of Rusty Walker and Lisa McKay, who continue to inspire the future leaders of the radio programming industry.
CRS 2024 runs from February 28 to March 1 — to register, visit CountryRadioSeminar.com.
