Memphis Welcome B96.3, ‘Hit Music Now!’

• Friday, Jan. 22 at 3pm local time, Flinn Broadcasting Memphis launched a new Top 40 radio station — B96.3, “Hit Music Now!” — powered by translator W242CF & WHBQ-HD2 and available online at B96Memphis.com.

You may recall that it was last September when Flinn made the decision to drop Top 40 on WHBQ (Q107.5)/Memphis after nearly two decades, electing to flip the frequency to Classic Hits with market legend Rick Dees in mornings.

The Zach Sang Show, which was most recently carried on the former Q107.5 will debut on the new B96.3 starting next week. The rest of the dayparts will run jockless for now. The new PD of B96.3 is Joe Mack, and your genial OM, as always, is Chris Taylor.
