Meredith Scores Tampa Bay Hat Trick

The news was delivered to the staff in a memo from OM/PD Will Calder that reads, in part, “We already know the humor, honesty, and personality Meredith brings to a conversation. Whether she’s keeping Orlando & The Freakshow on their toes, talking pop culture on ‘Headlines & High Heels,’ or finding another Tampa Bay food spot to tell you about, she always has something to share… and a point of view that’s her own. Now, QYK listeners will get to know that side of her, too.”
Andrade was named Orlando’s co-host in Feb. 2013, transferring from her morning co-host spot down the hall on sister WHFS (98-7 The Fan). She was awarded middays on Q105 early last year. Prior to joining Beasley, Meredith spent her formative radio years at WFLZ/Tampa and the former WFKS/Jacksonville.
Calder added, “While Country radio is a new chapter for Meredith, she’s excited about connecting with a new, passionate audience and becoming part of the Country community. She’s looking forward to discovering more of the music and its stories alongside listeners, sharing some laughs, and becoming a familiar part of their afternoons. That’s what makes this exciting: hearing someone we already know bring her personality to a new audience, and giving that audience the chance to welcome her in.”

WTOG (Tampa Bay 44) will broadcast the event on Saturday, Nov. 14 at 8pm, and Sunday, Nov. 15 at 6:30pm. Tickets are available at Ticketmaster.
