Miami’s LITE FM Unveils New Lineup

• In the wake of the recent retirement of beloved radio legend Gayle Garton, who served South Florida listeners for 34 years as a trusted on-air voice, Music Director and Assistant Brand Manager, Audacy AC WLYF (101.5 LITE FM)/Miami, unveiled its new weekday lineup: Ashley O. steps in as Music Director and midday host, followed by Jess Bonilla taking over afternoon drive.

“Gayle’s impact goes far beyond the music she played or the hours she spent behind the microphone,” said Michelle Stevens, Brand Manager of 101.5 LITE FM. “Gayle helped define what LITE means to South Florida — she’s our Matriarch, and we are incredibly grateful for everything she has given our listeners, our station and our team. While no one can ever truly replace a legacy like hers, we are honored to build on the incredible foundation she left behind. As we move forward, we couldn’t be more excited to welcome Ashley and Jess to the Lite Team.”

Ashley O. previously hosted mornings across the hall on former Alternative-turned-Sports-Talk WSFS (104.3 The Shark) and held key on-air and production roles at WFEZ and WFLC. She remains on-air at Audacy’s LGBTQ+ network CHANNEL Q. Bonilla launched her radio career in Detroit in 2000, and in 2002, she joined Audacy Orlando, where she will continue to serve as the midday host for WOMX (Mix 105.1).
