Moose Returns To Hampton Roads

• Max Media Hampton Roads is proud to announce the return of Mike “Moose” Smith as Operations Manager for the company’s Norfolk-Virginia Beach cluster, starting Monday, Sept. 26. Smith is coming off a brief stint in mornings on East Carolina Radio Hot AC WKJX (96.7 The Coast)/Elizabeth City, NC and brings with him 20+ years of experience with Max Media, including a 1997-2002 stint in Hampton Roads, and stints at the company’s North Carolina, Virginia, Arkansas, and Illinois groups as a GM, RVP and on-air personality.

“Mike has been a friend and colleague to me for over 15 years, and we are extremely excited to welcome him back to Virginia Beach,” said Keith Barton, President and Market Manager for Max Media Hampton Roads. Moose commented, “I’m stoked to be rejoining the Max Media family in Norfolk. These radio stations are legendary, and the team Keith has assembled is fantastic. I’m honored to be asked to join this team and I can’t wait to get started!”
