Morello Named APD of WROR/Boston
• Congrats to Boston radio pro Scott Morello, who has been awarded APD stripes for Beasley Classic Hits WROR. He retains his other APD role for Rhythmic Hot AC WBQT (Hot 96.9) and continues to report to Director of Programming Cadillac Jack.
Morello notably spending 20 years with Clear Channel/iHeartMedia Boston back in the day, working his way up to Creative Services Director for WXKS (Kiss 108) & WJMN (Jam’n 94.5). In early 2011 he traveled to that faraway land known as “Canada” to assume APD duties at Bell Media Rhythmic CFXJ (Flow 93-5)/Toronto, working for… wait for it… David Corey, who now shares the same hallway as Beasley Country Brand Manager and PD of WKLB (Country 102.5).
Morello was later named APD of Hot AC CHUM-FMand upped to PD of Flow 93-5. Two years later, Morello returned to Boston, hired by Greater Media (now Beasley) as Creative Services Director for AC WMJX (Magic 106.7), and was later named APD of Hot 96.9.
