Patyk Meets Pandora
• We are sending our best pre-holiday wishes to Chris Patyk, who, after a 3 1/2-year run with TuneIn just accepted a new position with Pandora as Sr. Manager Music Programming for Rock/Hard Rock.
Patyk joined TuneIn in August 2018 as Music Manager Rock + Alternative, and was later named Music Curation Manager handling Rock, Classic Rock, Alt, Pop, Hot AC, Country and Decades stations.
Patyk previously programmed then Entercom Alternative KBZT (ALT 94.9)/San Diego and former Top 40 clustermate KEGY (Energy 97.3) until March 2018, when he exited during a round of corporate restructuring. Patyk’s previous programming stops include Clear Channel Hot AC KWMT (92.9 The Mountain), News/Talk KNST-AM and Comedy KWFM (Funny 1450)/Tucson. Earlier programming stints include KUFO/Portland, OR and KZON (105. The Zone)/Phoenix. He was also APD/MD of KYSR/Los Angeles during its Hot AC era as Star 98.7, and he notably broke into radio in 1993 as a producer for Jimmy Kimmel at KRQQ in his hometown of Tucson.
