PD Wanted For RadioNOW Indy & Houston
• Late Tuesday night we learned that Chárésé Frügé has exited Radio One, where she had served in the dual role as CHR Format Captain and PD of Top 40 brands WNOW (RadioNOW 100.9)/Indianapolis and KROI (RadioNOW 92.1)/Houston since August 2018.
Radio One VP of Programming Colby Colb is now seeking an Indianapolis-based replacement to assume the programming reins of both stations. This dual market gig is posted on the Urban One Careers portal, and you are invited to visit the link and apply online for this EOE position.
Frügé’s extensive (and impressive) programming resume includes a stint as VP of Programming & Operations for CBS Radio Houston and PD of Top 40 KKHH (now Adult Hits 95.7 The Spot) and Hot AC KHMX (Mix 96.5). Before that she notably spent a decade with CBS Radio Las Vegas, where she rose to VP of Programming and PD of Hot AC KMXB and Alternative KXTE. Her earlier programming stops include KKBQ/Houston, KYSR/Los Angeles, KLLC/San Francisco, KALC/Denver, the former KSCF/San Diego and WEZB/New Orleans.
