Valentino Lu 2017• Riviera AC KOAI (The Oasis 95.1 & 94.9)/Phoenix has bestowed well deserved MD stripes upon Lu Valentino. Ms. Valentino (left) joined KOAI last year to do weekend/fill-in work, transitioning from Westwood One in Denver, where she was syndicated on 130 stations nationally. No stranger to the Valley of the Sun, Lu worked at KGLQ (Eagle 96.9) and KUPD back in the day, as Oasis PD Shaun Holly fondly recalls, saying, “I hired Lu 20 years ago as an air talent at Eagle 96.9, and I’m very excited to have her back on staff. She’ll make great contributions to the programming department at 95.1 & 94.9 The Oasis.”

Ratliff Kevin 2017• After a whirlwind three-month run in nights at CBS Radio Top 40 KALV (Live 101.5)/Phoenix, market vet Kevin “Bootleg Kev” Ratliff took to Facebook to announce he’s leaving for leaving after his show on Friday night for what he describes as “an amazing opportunity that I will reveal soon that I have to pursue.” Ratliff is a Phoenix native whose previous stops include afternoon drive at crosstown KKFR (Power 98.3 & 101.9), KVEG/Las Vegas and WLLD (WiLD 94.1)/Tampa. His post concluded, “Arizona is my heart and soul and I’ll always rep the land to the fullest. Thank you Tim Richards for an amazing opportunity and assuring me I’ll always have a home on the radio in the 6-0-2! I’m bout to put the f**k on for the whole state, I promise!”
