Power 96/Miami Inks MD/Night Jock

• Entercom Rhythmic WPOW (Power 96)/Miami keeps it in the family and announces the appointment of Jessie “DJ JPS” Penate as the station’s new MD and evening personality.

DJ JPS (pictured) joined Power 96 in 2016 after taking first place in the station’s “Mix Master” competition. Since then he’s served the station in various on-air roles, most recently doing middays, and as a mixer. DJ JPS has also done part-time across the hall on sister WKIS (Kiss Country 99.9).

“DJ JPS is a great addition to our Power 96 team,” said Keriann Worley, SVP/Market Manager, Entercom South Florida. “He’s a team player and I trust he will elevate our station’s Rhythmic Top 40 format and enhance the overall experience for our listeners.”
