Programming Promotions At CMG Tampa

• Cox Media Group Tampa announced a trio of programming upgrades for Kristy Knight, Sam Nirenberg and Jenna Kesneck, primarily focused on AC WWRM (Magic 94.9) and Soft AC 105.5 WDUV.

Let’s start with Ms. Knight (left), who crosses the hall from afternoons on Magic 94.9 to afternoons on 105.5 WDUV and takes on Associate Program Director duties. Nirenberg (center), who had been doing afternoons on Alternative 97X (WPOI-HD2) replaces Knight in afternoon drive on Magic 94.9 and is named Associate PD of Magic 94.9 and 97X.

Kesneck (right), the Director of Branding and Programming for 97X and 105.5 WDUV, will add Brand Manager stripes for Magic 94.9 as well.

Knight, best known for her 24-year run with iHeartMedia Tampa Bay, joined Magic 94.9 in 2018 as APD/midday talent. Nirenberg joined 97X in 2013, and Kesneck joined the company 2011 and was most recently Director of Branding & Programming for 97X and 105.5 WDUV.
