Pros On The Loose: Danny Palacios
• After nearly two years in morning drive at Momentum Broadcasting Top 40 KCRZ (Hitz 104.9)/Visalia, CA,Danny Palacios exits as his position is eliminated due to budget cuts.
Palacios, a.k.a. DJ Danny P, is a longtime radio veteran of California’s Central Valley who notably spent 11 years with Rhythmic Oldies KKBB (Groove 99.3)/Bakersfield under original owner Buckley Broadcasting, and later, Alpha Media, rising to Director of Programming for Groove 99.3 and Top 40 KLLY (Energy 95.3) until July 2024, when he exited during a round of restructuring.
“This November will mark 40 years in radio for me, a journey that began back in 1986,” says Palacios, who has worked throughout California in a variety of roles, including Program Director, Morning Show Host, Production Director, Operations Manager, Music Director, and on-air personality. Palacios is actively seeking a full-time opportunity and am willing to relocate anywhere in the U.S. for the right position.
