Radzik Upped To PD of The Sports Hub

• Beasley Media Group Boston keeps it firmly in the Sports Hub family and promotes APD Rick Radzik to Program Director of Sports-Talk WBZ-FM (98.5 The Sports Hub), effective immediately.

Radzik becomes only the second PD in The Sports Hub’s decade-long history and succeeds Mike Thomas, who, as we previously reported, is leaving the station to become Market Manager for WMVP (ESPN 1000)/Chicago while remaining a consultant for 98.5 The Sports Hub.

Radzik is a heritage Boston News-Talk-Sports radio veteran who, like Thomas, has been with The Sports Hub since its launch in August 2009. Before that he spent 15 years as an Executive Producer at News-Talk WBZ-AM. Radzik’s market history dates back to 1990, when he signed on as Executive Producer for the Boston Bruins Radio Network on WEEI and WBZ-AM.

“Rick is a highly respected member of The Sports Hub team,” said Mary Menna, VP/Market Manager of Beasley Media Group Boston. “We are looking forward to many more decades of wins under his leadership!” Cadillac Jack, Director of Programming at Beasley Media Group Boston, commented, “Rick has been a key member of the Sports Hub programming team since the station’s inception. The knowledge he has amassed over the past decade, coupled with his relationships and passion for continuing our winning history make him uniquely qualified to lead the Sports Hub into the 2020s and beyond!”
