Raleigh Welcomes 95.3 The Beat

• iHeartMedia Raleigh has turned 95.3 over to Classic Hip Hop with the launch of 95.3 The Beat (WDCG-HD2/W236CA), “Raleigh’s #1 For Throwbacks.” The station — formerly ALT 95.3, and more recently, Christmas 95.3 — is currently getting up to speed by powering through 5,000 songs in a row commercial-free from the biggest names in throwback hip hop and R&B like Jay-Z, Usher, Beyoncé, Eminem, Ludacris,Rihanna, etc. The full on-air line-up will be announced at a later date.
