Richards Packing For Sacto

• Stay tuned for the formal announcement, but RAMP has confirmed that veteran programmer Vince Richards will soon be introduced as the new Operations Manager for Entercom Sacramento. He will succeed Jim Fox, who had worked in Sacramento since 2003 and was recently awarded a transfer to Entercom Dallas as VP of Music Programming.

Interestingly, Richards (pictured) has spent most of his radio career in the great state of Texas — for the past year he has served as GM of CSL Entertainment, based in Plano, TX. Before that he was National Operations Manager for Townsquare Media, and he notably put in a decade of service with Clear Channel Dallas as OM of the cluster and PD of Alternative KDGE (102.1 The Edge) until April 2011. Before his transfer to Dallas, Richards spent six years as Director of FM Programming for Clear Channel Houston.
