Richer Returns To iHeart DC As APD

• iHeartMedia Washington, DC welcomes Jen Richer back into the fold as Assistant Program Director, effective November 1. In this newly created cluster APD position, Richer will be responsible for assisting the region PDs with their day-to-day programming responsibilities and digital operations for all seven iHeart DC radio stations — AC 97.1 WASH, Classic Rock WBIG (Big 100), Top 40 WIHT (Hot 99.5), Country WMZQ, News-Talk WONK-FM, WUST-AM (BIN 1120) and Alternative WWDC (DC101).

Richer returns to iHeart’s DC HQ from crosstown WMAL-FM, where she was most recently Executive Producer of The Vince Coglianese Show. No stranger to iHeart’s hallways, Richer previously worked in the building as iHeart DC News Director and Executive Producer of WONK-FM’s Reaction Zone. Earlier she worked for Audacy’s WIAD-FM as co-host and Executive Producer of The Tommy Show and host and Executive Producer of the Fresh Perspective Show. She began her career at WMAL-FM in 2006.

Richer will report to Jeff Kapugi, SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia DC, who remarked, “We are thrilled to welcome Jen Richer back to the iHeartMedia Washington, D.C. team in this newly created position.
