Riley Upped To MD In Omaha

Scripps Top 40 KQCH (Channel 94-1)/Omaha keeps it in the family and promotes midday personality Chi Riley to Music Director. In making the official announcement, OM/PD Mark Todd said, “Chi started helping internally with music duties in March. She learned quickly the requirements of the job and has proven that she is the right person for this important position on a highly rated radio station.”

Ms. Riley, whose first name is pronounced “Chee,” has been with Scripps Media Omaha for almost three years. She will continue to do the midday show and is now available for music calls on Mondays and Tuesdays between 2-4pm CT. “I’m looking forward to taking on this new opportunity at Channel 94-1 and grateful for Mark Todd guiding me into the music director role,” Riley said, adding, “This is going be fun!”

Riley succeeds JJ Ryan, who left in March after seven years and went to work for a local advertising agency.
