Rivers Runs Through New Haven
• iHeartMedia has promoted Adam Rivers to Program Director of the company’s four-station cluster in New Haven, CT — heritage Top 40 WKCI (KC101), Urban 100.9 The Beat (WKCI-HD2/W265DB), Sports-Talk WAVZ-AM (ESPN 1300) and News-Talk 960 WELI-AM. Rivers reports to Joey Brooks, SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia Hartford and New Haven and will continue to do afternoons on KC101.
Rivers has served as APD/MD of KC101 and Kiss 95-7)/Hartford since 2013. He previously programmed iHeartMedia Top 40 WKSI (Kiss 98.3)/Winchester, VA, did swing for WMAS/Springfield, MA and was APD/Marketing director and night jock for Hall Communications’ Top 40 WILI (i98.3)/Willimantic, CT. He began his career at Kiss 95-7/Hartford.
