Salisbury Named Content Dir., KBFF/Portland
• Earlier this week we teased that Dylan Salisbury was leaving his PD post at Cumulus Top 40 KKMG (98.9 Magic FM)/Colorado Springs, CO after two years for a Top 25 market gig — today we can reveal that Salisbury is the newly named Content Director for Alpha Media Top 40 KBFF (Live 95.5)/Portland, OR. He succeeds Amanda “Ice” Habrowski, who headed to Las Vegas as midday talent on iHeartMedia Classic Rock KYMT (93.1 The Mountain) and as a contributor to the iHeart Vegas programming team.
Salisbury starts June 27 and will report to Portland Ops Manager Gene Sandbloom, Market Manager Lisa Decker and EVP of Content Phil Becker. Sandbloom said, “All of us at Alpha Media Portland are excited for the energy that Dylan is bringing to Live 95.5. His eagerness to innovate and try the untried is a perfect fit for the No. 1 Top 40 station in the market.”
Prior to joining KKMG, Salisbury refined his programming, hosting and social media skills at WZPL/Indianapolis, KKDM (107.5 Kiss FM)/Des Moines, IA, KFRX/Lincoln, NE, KDWB/Minneapolis,KUDL (106.5 The End)/Sacramento, WXSS (103.7 Kiss FM)/Milwaukee) and KATC (Cat Country 95.1)/Colorado Springs.
