Scott Jameson: Free Agent
• RAMP has confirmed that veteran programmer Scott Jameson has exited his multi-faceted position as Cumulus VP of Classic Rock Programming, PD of heritage Classic Rock KQRS/Minneapolis and Operations Manager of KQRS, KXXR & WGVX.
Jameson joined Cumulus Minneapolis in December 2012 as OM of the cluster and PD of KQRS. He was promoted to corporate VP of Classic Rock in January 2016. In a statement, Jameson said, “I’m thankful to the great people I worked with both at KQRS and the Cumulus corporate team for the opportunity. It was exciting to be a part of. Thanks to Brian Philips, Mike McVay and Dave Milner in Atlanta and to Shelly Wilkes and her team in Minneapolis.”
Jameson’s career also includes these highlights: From 2009-2012 he worked for CBS Radio Atlanta as PD of Triple A WZGC (92.9 Dave FM), corporate VP of Adult Rock programming and Executive Producer of the Atlanta Falcons Radio Network. He has also worked for Jacobs Media, and he notably spent 15 years with Clear Channel Indianapolis as Director of FM Programming for Classic Rock WFBQ (Q95) and Alternative WRZX.
