Segraves Meets The Boss, & Vice Versa

• Press Communications’ Jersey Shore Classic Rock simulcast WWZY/WBHX (107-1 The Boss)/Monmouth-Ocean welcomes Valerie Segraves as news anchor and reporter for Robby and Rochelle in the Morning, beginning April 22.

Segraves is no stranger to the tri-state radio audience, having spent several years with Z100/New York as a part of the Z Morning Zoo, also with Elvis Duran, and later as afternoon host. Segraves has also been heard on 1010 WINS/New York and other outlets as an anchor for Shadow Traffic, including on-camera reports for WWOR-TV. Segraves also spent time at CNN Radio, The Weather Channel and more recently did mornings on Renda AC WEJZ/Jacksonville, FL. She’s also had a successful commercial voiceover business.

“Valerie is a world-class talent and will be a really great addition to our team in the morning on The Boss,” said Robby Bridges, Press VP of Programming and the “Robby” half of Robby & Rochelle. Segraves will also anchor morning news for sister WHTG (The Breeze 1410AM/100.7 FM) and a noon report for The Boss.

Segraves remarked, “My favorite thing about the shore, hands down, is the Boardwalk. And Springers Ice Cream! After all the summer rentals I had over the years, I’m so excited to be coming back! The Jersey Shore never leaves you, no matter where you may find yourself. Being on in the mornings with Robby and Rochelle feels like coming home.”
