Sherman Expands His Programming Footprint

UPDATED: iHeartMedia announced that longtime Houston SVP of Programming Marc Sherman is expanding his programming territory as he is promoted to Regional Senior Vice President of Programming for the New Orleans and Baton Rouge markets.

In his newly enhanced position, Sherman will remain in Houston and retain his current duties while also annexing responsibilities for the 14+ radio brands in New Orleans and Baton Rouge, LA. Sherman continues to report to Eddie Martiny, Region President of iHeartMedia Houston, New Orleans and Baton Rouge, who said, “I’m excited to expand Marc’s programming expertise to the New Orleans and Baton Rouge markets. I have had the pleasure of working with Marc for over 15 years and he is not only a brilliant programmer, but also an excellent leader. New Orleans and Baton Rouge are in good hands.”

Sherman has programmed heritage AC KODA (Sunny 99.1)/Houston for more than 20 years while also overseeing the programming for Alternative KTBZ (94.5 The Buzz), Urban KQBT (93.7 The Beat), KTRH (NewsRadio 740), KBME (SportsTalk 790) and Talk KPRC-AM 950 in his capacity as SVP of Programming.
