Singh Named MD, WBLI/Long Island

• Cox Media Group Long Island announced that WBLI (106.1 BLI)/Nassau-Suffolk afternoon drive personality Kiana Singh will take on the added role of Music Director.

“Kiana has been working hard behind the scenes for a while and I’m excited to be able to finally elevate her role at the station to this much deserved title,” said Chris Lloyd, Director of Operations for CMG Long Island. Lloyd added, “The BLI brand has a long history of being THE place Long Islanders come to for ‘All The Hits,’ and this next chapter in the evolution of BLI has a bright future with Kiana as our new BLI Music Director.”

Singh, who debuted in afternoons on WBLI in 2019 is excited to take on her new responsibilities, commenting, “After being with BLI 4+ years, I’m so excited to officially take on this Music Director role. After working closely in programming since starting my PM drive show, I’m happy to shift into full throttle and continue the legendary BLI Brand! A big thank you to Chris Lloyd, Nancy Cambino, Syke, Will Calder, and so many other mentors who have helped me along the way.”
