Steele Named PD of KKFR/Phoenix
• Desert Valley Media Group Rhythmic KKFR (Power 98.3 & 96.1)/Phoenix has hired veteran programmer Jonathan “J” Steele as Program Director & Brand Manager, effective March 20. Steele segues from American General Media in Albuquerque, NM, where he has served as PD of KKSS (Kiss 97.3) and KKRG (Mix 105.1) since June 2022. Steele’s earlier stops include APD/afternoon drive personality for Beasley Classic Hip Hop WMGC (105.1 The Bounce)/Detroit and PD of Martz Communications’ WAMO/Pittsburgh.
