Steele On The Loose

Veteran programmer Jimmy Steele is now a free agent, as he exits his post as PD/morning co-host at iHeartMedia Hot AC WRFY (Y102) and PD of Spanish Top 40 WRAW-AM (Rumba 92.3/1340)/Reading, PA, due to regional restructuring. Steele had been on the job there since July of 2016, when he transitioned from his post as SVP of Programming for company’s six-station group in from Salisbury-Ocean City, MD.

Steele’s earlier programming stops include OM/Brand Manager for Saga’s Columbus Radio Group in Columbus, OH and a seven-year stint with Clear Channel San Diego in various roles, including OM. His previous programming stops include WNCI/Columbus, OH, WZEE (Z104)/Madison, WRVW (107.5 The River)/Nashville and WKSE (Kiss 98.5)/Buffalo.
