Stevens Named Region SVPP, iHeart Atlanta

• iHeartMedia has named Meg Stevens as Region Senior Vice President of Programming for the Atlanta Region, effective immediately. In her new regional post, Stevens will be responsible for the programming operations across the Region’s radio stations in Georgia and South Carolina while also serving as Program Director of Country WUBL (94.9 The Bull)/Atlanta.

Stevens will report to Justin Schaflander, Region President of iHeartMedia’s Atlanta Region, who said, “I’m excited to have Meg join the talented iHeartMedia Atlanta Region Team. Along with her impressive tenure of experience with iHeartMedia, Meg has an unparalleled passion and energy for the various formats that will elevate and impact our brands from day one.”

Stevens earns the transfer to the Atlanta Region from Charlotte, where she was most recently Region Senior Vice President of Programming in the Virginia-Carolina Region and PD of Country WKKT (96.9 The Kat). Stevens previously served as an Executive Vice President of Programming, Operations Manager, and PD of iHeartMedia’s WMZQ/Washington, WPOC/Baltimore and WGAR/Cleveland. Stevens began her radio career at WAQX/Syracuse, NY.
