Summers To Host CBS Country Daily Dirt
• CBS News Radio is launching a new entertainment feature, The CBS Country Daily Dirt, hosted by Brooke Summers, afternoon drive personality on NRG Media Country KFGE (Froggy 98)/Lincoln, NE.
No stranger to the national spotlight, Summers has been featured as a two-time voiceover announcer for The Academy of Country Music Awards, nominated as Country Aircheck Awards’ New Face of Country Music, and hosts the CBS Country Music Holiday Specials.
“Brooke Summers knows Country,” said Jennifer Brown, CBS Radio Executive Editor. “We can’t wait for listeners across the country to hear Brooke and The CBS Country Daily Dirt.”
The daily one-minute feature launches Monday, March 3 on the CBS News Radio Network and feeds weekdays at 5:35am ET, just in time for morning drive. Needless to say, Froggy 98 is already committed to air the feature, as has WJVL/Janesville, WI, WYOT (102.3 The Coyote)/Rochelle-Dekalb, IL, and WLVB/Morrisville, VT, to name a few.
