Booker Returns To @ Alt 92.3/NYC

Chris Booker is returning to his radio roots, as he announced he was the new afternoon drive personality on Entercom Alternative WNYL (Alt 92.3)/New York. “Starting today at 2p, I rejoin the only radio station that I ever dreamed of being on @alt923radio New York,” Booker posted to social media. “My emotions are all over the road as the date on the calendar will never be lost on me. I celebrate the city and couldn’t be more proud to be coming home!”

It truly is a radio homecoming for Booker, who earlier in his career worked on 92.3 when it was the legendary WXRK (92.3 K-Rock). He had spent the past decade with Entercom Top 40 KAMP (97.1 AMP)/Los Angeles, most recently doing mornings until his departure in early April, the result of COVID-19-related corporate cutbacks.

Booker has also worked at the original WNEW and Z100/New York as well as WIOQ (Q102)/Philadelphia before moving to Los Angeles in late 2009 and debuting on AMP Radio in January 2010. Booker has also been a correspondent for Entertainment Tonight, and was a regular presence on MTV and VH-1. He has also co-hosted the popular Perez Hilton Podcast With Chris Booker since July 2015.
