Taylor Named PD, RED 94.5/Lincoln

• NRG Media Lincoln, NE has tapped market veteran D-Wayne Taylor as the new PD and morning talent for Rhythmic Top 40 RED 94.5 (KBBK-HD2). Taylor will officially join the station on Halloween after a seven-year run across the street on Alpha Media Top 40 KFRX, most recently as afternoon drive talent. Taylor will succeed Tiago Rey, who is leaving after four years and relocating to Houston to work for Univision’s Creative Services department.

With D-Wayne taking over mornings, Bic will remain in middays, while DJ Swift will move up from nights to afternoons, adding the role of “House DJ” to his repertoire, anchoring the 5pm Takeover and Friday night Weekend Rollout live mix shows.
