Taylor Upped To MD @ WDVD/Detroit
• Kendall Taylor, APD and midday personality at Cumulus Hot AC WDVD/Detroit has been awarded Music Director duties.
Lance Tidwell, Director of FM Programming for Cumulus Detroit, said, “Since I started last December, Kendall has been such an important team member and she contributes so much to WDVD. She brings great ideas and follows them with great organization and execution to what we do on WDVD. I’m thrilled to have her to help improve communication with our important label partners and bringing her own perspective to what we do musically at WDVD.”
Taylor was upped from weekends/interim midday personality to full-time APD/middays in December 2017. Earlier in her career Taylor did overnights on WDVD and also worked at WVHT/Norfolk and KMVK/Dallas. Taylor commented, “I’m so proud to be part of the WDVD team and to earn the title of Music Director. I’m excited to learn from one of the best, and look forward to working with our label friends to make the station even more fun to listen to.”
