• Vox AM/FM Top 40 WXXX (95 Triple X)/Burlington, VT promotes from within and elevates midday personality Izzy Mitchell to Program Director/Brand Ambassador, succeeding Kwame Dankwa, who recently exited.

Mitchell, who is due to graduate from Emerson College next month, and is a veteran of Emerson’s influential WERS/Boston, will move to afternoon drive on Triple X in January, while also overseeing daily programming, content, sound design, record label relationships, promotions, and audience engagement strategies.

WERS Brand Manager Ken West said, “We’re incredibly proud of Izzy at WERS and know she’s ready for this incredible opportunity. Her leadership skills, fun personality, and natural ability to connect with audiences will immediately shine through to Triple X staff and listeners.”

Vox AM/FM Operations Manager Ted Richards said, “We’re thrilled to welcome Izzy to our management team. I couldn’t be more excited to have one of the brightest young talents joining 95 Triple X. The station has a proud history, but I’m confident that Izzy’s winning attitude will keep us connecting with our listeners in new and creative ways. This is an amazing opportunity to bring in the next generation of talented radio leaders — and Izzy is just who we need!”

Mitchell remarked, “To be trusted with leading the station is an incredible honor. I’m excited to build on what makes 95 Triple X special and keep it a real part of the community — to be the voice Vermonters and New Yorkers hear on their morning carpools, late-night drives, and weekend getaways. I grew up listening to the radio in Vermont, and to be part of that now feels a lot like coming home.”
