• Times Shamrock Communications was busy in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, PA this week, converting a Hot AC simulcast into an exciting new Classic Hits station serving Northeast Pennsylvania — The New 92 Mix-FM — powered by 92.1 WQFM, 100.1 WQFN & W263AL @ 100.5.
Mix-FM will feature a diverse mix of music from the ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s, along with a stellar lineup of legendary air personalities — Mornings: Rick Gary (WODS/Boston, KOOL/Phoenix, WINK/Ft. Myers); Middays: Logan(Z100/NY, KDMX/Dallas, WBEB/Philly, currently mornings at WINK/Ft. Myers); Afternoons: Jack Diamond(WRQX/DC, WLS/Chicago, 92 PRO-FM/Providence, WRKO/Boston, etc., currently mornings at WWEG (106.9 The Eagle)/Frederick, MD); Nights: Giovanni, who recently retired after a remarkable 50-year run at 92 PRO-FM/Providence).
Mix-FM will also air specialty shows like “The ’60s at 6,” “The ’70s at 7,” and “The ’80s at 8.”
