• Contemporary Christian broadcaster Pillar Media announced three internal promotions within its programming team — (l-r): Skip Mahaffey is named Pillar Media Creative Director & Talent Coach, Rob Lewis has been promoted to Pillar Media Programming Operations Manager, and SLiM Rodriguez has been appointed APD of KSRC (STAR 101.5)/Denver.

Mahaffey, a 40-year broadcast pro, has been with Pillar Media for the past two years. Lewis has been with Pillar for his entire 30-year broadcasting career, and Rodriguez, a 32-year radio veteran, joined Pillar Media in 2024 during the acquisition of its Denver signals from Max Media.

“Elevating Skip to this new role means that all of the on-air team at Pillar Media stations benefit from Skip’s experience and ability to connect with listeners in an authentic way,” said Matt Stockman, Brand Director at Pillar Media. “Skip’s passion for developing other talent is crucial to our future growth, and I’m glad we can capitalize on it.”

Stockman added, “The promotion of Rob and SLiM to these new roles is a direct result of their commitment to excellence and the deep desire in our organization to cultivate leadership from within. I’m excited to see the ways in which each of them grow our influence.”
