It was two weeks ago when we reported that Chris Ryan had resigned as PD of Connoisseur Media Top 40 WRTS (Star 104)/Erie, PA for a “mystery gig TBA” — Ryan now checks in from his new radio home — he’s the PD of Neuhoff Media Top 40 WSOY-FM (Y103)/Decatur, IL. The move marks a return to Central Illinois for Ryan, who programmed Connoisseur Media (now Neuhoff Media) Top 40 WWHX (Hits 100.7)/Bloomington, IL from April 2012 to April of 2015.
As Ryan explains, “I interviewed with a couple of other bigger companies but felt that Neuhoff Media was the best fit for what I wanted to accomplish for my next programming gig. I love what they stand for and am excited to be a new member of the Neuhoff Media family. Y103 is the heritage CHR in the market and I get to fully wrap my arms around the station to make it sound better than ever!” Ryan is now up and running and looks forward to hearing from his label friends at chrisryan@neuhoffmedia.com.
