• Yesterday we told you iHeartMedia Country WBWL (101.7 The Bull)/Boston had upped evening talent Amanda Jo Parker (left) to APD and was moving her to Boston from sister WRNX (KIX 100.9)/Springfield, MA, where she had been tracking The Bull night show. Parker will continue to track the KIX 100.9 afternoon shift. Reach her at amandaparker@iheartmedia.com.

Elsewhere in the Springfield hallways, SVP of Programming Kevin Johnson has hired promotions/programming pro Mike “Perez” (left) from iHeartMedia Hartford as Promotions Director and as an extra programming mind. He succeeds former Promotions Director Ashley Mascroft, who in August was named Promotions Director at sister WSIX (Big 98)/Nashville.

Johnson said, “Perez is an excellent addition to help lead [WHYN-FM]Mix 93-1, KIX 100.9 and NewsRadio 560 WHYNto continued success. His strong programming background will allow him to assist with KIX both on and off air following Amanda Jo’s departure.”

• Earlier this week we told you Amber Hoback was leaving her post as PD/MD and morning personality at Wine Country Radio Triple A KRSH (The Krush 95.9)/Santa Rosa, CA for the huge opportunity to become Music Director and midday host at Sarkes Tarzian Triple A WTTS/Indianapolis, effective Dec. 3.

In an effort to maintain maximum programming continuity, Hoback checked in to let us know that Operations Manager Andre de Channes will now assume PD/MD stripes for KRSH. This is familiar territory for de Channes (left), a 15-year Wine Country Radio veteran (and KRSH midday personality) who previously programmed KRSH before Hoback’s promotion three years ago.

• Townsquare Media has an opening for an Operations Manager in Bismarck, ND — Country KUSB (US 103.3), Top 40 KKCT (Hot 97.5), Classic Hits KACL (Cool 98.7), Classic Rock KBYZ (96.5 The Fox) and Talk KLXX-AM (Super Talk 1270).

This is a great opportunity to lead several successful brands in a great town for a great company. Interested candidates should send your materials to Market President Mark Crump at Mark.Crump@townsquaremedia.com.
