• iHeartMedia Country WBWL (101.7 The Bull)/Boston keeps it in the family and names Amanda Jo Parker as Asst. PD. “Amanda Jo Parker officially moves to Boston!” said PD Ginny Brophey. Parker (pictured here with Brad Paisley), had been tracking the night show on The Bull via remote from Country cousin WRNX (Kix 100.9)/Springfield, MA, but with her new promotion will officially relocate to Boston, but retain her afternoon shift on Kix 100

Amanda Jo was raised in Greenfield, MA and got her radio start there as an intern at Saga Country WPVQ (Bear Country 95.3)after graduating from Westfield State College. She ended up staying there for seven years, working her way up to Promotions Director and afternoon talent before moving to KIX 100.9/Springfield.


• iHeartMedia Atlanta has named Orlando Rosa as Program Director of Regional Mexican WBZY (El Patron 105.3). He will report to Brian Michel, Region SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia Atlanta, who remarked, “We are thrilled to welcome Orlando to the iHeartMedia Atlanta team because of his wealth of experience and vast market knowledge. Orlando brings passion, energy and a strong commitment to super-serving our listeners, partners and the Atlanta community.”

Rosa relocates from Birmingham, AL, where he most recently operated his own consultancy. He also spent nine years as VP for Latino News of Tennessee, and from 2010-2017 he was OM of Rivera Communications’ group in Birmingham and PD of Regional Mexican WAYE (98.3 La Jefa). He began his career in 2006 at WRLM (Latino Mix 1480)/Birmingham, AL.
