The Wolf Howls In Burlington
• The crew at VOX AM/FM LLC in scenic Burlington, VT was busy over the weekend, moving one station and launching a new one — the action starts at Sports-Talk 101.3 WCPV, which has flipped to “Everything Country, 101.3 The Wolf,” featuring The Bobby Bones Show in morning drive, along with local host Rich Haskell, 6-10am weekdays.
The rest of The Wolf’s daily lineup will feature current and former personalities in the greater Burlington, VT-Plattsburgh, NY market, including Tara Madison in middays, JT (TJ Michaels) as The Wolf’s new PD/afternoon talent, Rick Logan, who had been doing part-time on sister WEZF (Star 92.9), now full-time Promotions Director and 7-midnight personality, and the syndicated Cody Alan overnights.
John Mullett, VP of Operations/Station Manager remarked, “We are so excited to be launching 101.3 The Wolf in this market. Our mission is to bring Burlington and Plattsburgh a high energy, fun, local, relatable and current feeling country station. • Fear not, sports fans…Mullett tells RAMP that The Game and its content have been relocated over to a sweet three-frequency setup, now based at sister WEAV-AM (formerly 960 The Zone), and boosted by two translators — 97.1 on the Vermont side and 105.9 on the New York side.
