The Wright Move For Santa Rosa

• Congrats are in order for Danny Wright, PD/morning talent at Amaturo Sonoma Media Group Classic Rock KVRV (97.7 The River)/Santa Rosa, CA, who has been awarded bonus PD stripes at Top 40 sister KHTH (Hot 101.7). Wright’s promotion takes some of the programming load off of VP of Programming Jim Murphy, who has handled the Hot PD role for the past two years.

In making the announcement, Murphy said, “This is a well-earned advancement for Danny. He’s a skilled, experienced programmer with ample Top 40 experience in addition to his work on the River, including a stint doing afternoons right here on Hot 101.7. He will do a great job with our team and make the station even better.”
