Thomas New PD of WBBO/Monmouth-Ocean

• Press Communications promotes from within and awards Rashaud Thomas PD stripes for Jersey Shore Top 40 WBBO (B98.5)/Monmouth-Ocean. He will retain his existing MD/afternoon drive duties.

Like many talented pros in our business, Thomas got his radio start at Syracuse University’s broadcast proving ground, the legendary WJPZ (Z89). In October 2013, Thomas landed weekends at heritage Top 40 WPST/Trenton, NJ, and was upped to full-time nights a month later.

Thomas originally joined WBBO in February 2015 as MD/middays, and moved to afternoons and added the APD title in March 2017. There was also a nine-month run in between where Thomas assumed APD/afternoon duties at Hot AC (now Classic Rock) clustermate WWZY.
