Tucson Welcomes 92.9 The Bull
• After several days of stunting, and at the frequency-appropriate time of 9:29am, former iHeartMedia Hot AC KMIY (My 92.9)/Tucson flipped to Country as the new “92.9 The Bull, Tucson’s New Country,” under the command of SVP of Programming Nick Bruns.
To celebrate the launch of 92.9 The Bull, the station has embarked on a thrilling musical oddyessy to play 10,000 songs in a row, commercial-free. 92.9 The Bull will also feature the nationally syndicated Bobby Bones Show in mornings and CMT Radio Live and After MidNite with Cody Alan.
“Tucson has long had a hole in the market for a new Country station that covers the entire metro with a strong signal, and now 92.9 The Bull gives that to Tucson,” said Steve Earnhart, iHeartMedia Southwest Area President. “We’re kicking off 92.9 The Bull with 10,000 songs commercial-free, and we couldn’t be more excited to connect Tucson Country music fans with the newest and hottest Country artists.”
The on-air line-up for 92.9 The Bull looks like this: The Bobby Bones Show (5-10am, beginning Monday, January 25); Rubi (middays); Chris O’Gorman (afternoons); Celina (7-midnight); After MidNite with Cody Alan (midnight-5am, starting January 25).
