Valliere Booked From Cedar Rapids To Chicago

• This week’s RAMP Leap Of The Week winner is Jenny Valliere, who earns the impressive market upgrade from Cedar Rapids, IA to Chicago, hired by Hubbard Radio Hot AC WTMX (101.9 The Mix) as MD and midday personality. The announcement was made by WTMX VP of Brand and Content, Jimmy Steal.

Valliere arrives in Chicago from KZIA (Z102.9)/Cedar Rapids, IA, where she was PD/MD and afternoon personality. Valliere is a Cedar Rapids native (and 2018 Miss Iowa USA) who joined Z102.9 in 2012, starting on the overnight show and working her way up to afternoon drive two years later. In June 2018 she was awarded APD/MD stripes, and promoted to the PD chair in January 2020.

Hubbard Chicago VP/Market Manager Jeff England noted, “After an extensive, nationwide search, we were pleased to find someone of Jenny’s talent right here in the Midwest. The combination of programming and on-air experience will make for the perfect fit in middays and serve as a great asset in the programming department.”

Valliere commented, “I’m extremely grateful for the opportunity to join 101.9 THE MIX. Working in the Chicago market is something I’ve dreamed of since I started in radio. I can’t thank Jimmy Steal and Hubbard Chicago enough for this incredible opportunity.” Valliere succeeds Nikki Chuminatto, who was added to the cast of The Mix’s Eric in the Morning show.
