WLNK Introduces ‘Matt Harris & Friends’

• Earlier this week Radio One, Inc. announced that Ramona Holloway, longtime co-host of The Matt & Ramona Morning Show on Hot AC WLNK (Mix 107.9)/Charlotte would be transitioning into a new role as Community Affairs Manager for Radio One’s Charlotte cluster.

Today it was announced that Matt Harris (center), co-host of the legendary Matt & Ramona Show for the past 22 years, will anchor the newly rebranded The Morning Mix with Matt Harris & Friends. Those friends include Liz Drabick and JD Hanks, who will be joined by special guest appearances by other friends of the show throughout the week.

For Drabick (left), this marks a returns to the station that gave her a start in radio over 20 years ago, as “Punky” the intern. Since then, this UNC Charlotte alum has spent the past two decades working in radio and television in Baltimore and Washington, DC. Hanks (right) was most recently the Imaging Producer for The Mix Group in Miami. A proud “Disney Dad,” Hanks and his family are happy to make Charlotte home.
