WRDU Freshens Its Presentation

• RAMP has observed that iHeartMedia Classic Rock WRDU/Raleigh has applied what amounts to a “fresh coat of paint” to its on-air presentation.

While there has been no formal announcement, and based on what we are hearing, the station has dialed back the ’70s content in favor of adding some ’00s on the front end, along with an updated slogan, “Everything Rock & Alternative.”

The on-air line-up was recently updated with the arrival of new PD E. White, who is doing afternoons. The syndicated Woody & Wilcox remain in mornings, followed by Aly Young in middays, and Battle from 7-midnight. Thanks for listening!
