Yes, More iHeart Restructuring Casualties
• RAMP hears that Reggie Brown, a fixture at Urban WKKV (V100.7)/Milwaukee for over two decades has exited as PD/afternoon talent.
Brown, who did afternoons there for many years, was briefly downsized in early 2020 during a round of corporate restructuring, but re-hired several months later and named PD in April 2020, succeeding 19-year station veteran Bailey Coleman, who was named VP of Programming for the company’s New Orleans group.
• Drake Webb has exited the cast of The Dave Ryan Show on Top 40 KDWB/Minneapolis after just over two years on the job. Webb broke the news of his departure in a video posted to Instagram.
Webb was hired at KDWB in November 2021, making a major upward market move from Woodward Communications’ Top 40 WKSZ (95.9 Kiss FM)/Green Bay, WI, where he was night jock and Social Media Manager.
• We understand several more names will be forthcoming on Friday, completing this latest round of restructuring. If you or a colleague has been similarly affected by these budget cuts and would like your info shared with the industry, please reach out to Kevin@RAMP247.com.
