92Q/Baltimore Launches ‘The A.M. Clique’
• Radio One Urban WERQ (92Q)/Baltimore is launching a new local morning show — The A.M Clique with Porkchop and AngelBaby debuts on Monday, March 8 and features two very familiar personalities: Porkchop and DJ AngelBaby.
Porkchop has been a staple in the Baltimore community for years. The late great Khia “K-Swift” Edgertongave him his start on 92Q as the producer of Off The Hook Radio with Reggie Reg. He then moved up in the ranks, becoming the co-host of Rap Attack, and later earned a spot on The Big Phat Morning Show. Shortly after, Porkchop joined Squirrel Wyde, forming the two-man wrecking crew known as “Animal House.”
A proud graduate of Howard University in Washington, DC, AngelBaby previously worked Baltimore and has also worked at Radio One sisters WENZ (Z107.9)/Cleveland, WQNC (92.7 The Block)/Charlotte, WQOK (K97.5)/Raleigh and WGPR (Hot 107.5)/Detroit. She’s also the official DJ for national recording artist Kash Doll and a Violator All Star DJ. AngelBaby is also the founder of Urban Artemis, a non-profit geared towards uplifting and educating youth with a special interest in mentoring young women.
92Q GM Howard Mazer stated, “Porkchop and DJ AngelBaby are two very strong radio talents who have an authentic connection to their audience, and I’m confident that the show will be a huge draw for the local listening audience.” The A.M. Clique replaces the Reach Media-syndicated The Morning Hustle.
