Boston Loves Karen Blake

• We are thrilled for longtime Boston radio pro Karen Blake, who has been hired to do afternoon drive on Entercom AC WMJX (Magic 106.7)/Boston, where she will happily drive you home weekdays from 3-8pm ET. “Karen is a legendary personality with a storied career in Boston, and we are excited to welcome her to the Magic 106.7 family,” said Mark Hannon, Regional President and Market Manager, Entercom Boston.

Ms. Blake is a well-known presence in the Boston radio community — she began her radio career there at the age of 19 at WXKS (Kiss 108) and later spent several years in nights and mornings at the former WZOU (now WJMN), followed by a stint in afternoons at Country WKLB.

Blake’s other notable Boston stops include a nine-year run in mornings on Entercom’s former WQSX (Star 93.7), followed by a multi-year stint in afternoons and mornings on former CBS Radio Classic Hits WODS (Oldies 103). She returns to Boston radio after her most recent five-year run in mornings on CCB Media Hot AC WQRC (99.9 The Q)/Cape Cod, MA.
