Carrie & Hsu Reunited At The Pike
• UPDATED: We recently reported that renowned Rock Goddess Mistress Carrie, best known and loved for her two decades of service as APD/MD and afternoon talent on the late, great WAAF/Boston, had joined Westwood One’s 24-hour network formats division as afternoon host of the Rock 2.0 and CRX formats. While that news is awesome enough, RAMP confirmed that Carrie has also been inked to do afternoon drive on Cumulus Classic Rock WWFX (100 FM The Pike)/Worcester, MA — a separate arrangement from her WWO deal, but still in the Cumulus family.
Carrie’s hire means a tearful reunion with Mike Hsu, her former longtime WAAF colleague, who joined The Pike last summer and is now doing mornings. Carrie and Hsu hold the distinction of being the final two personalities on WAAF, presiding over its emotional final sign-off on Feb. 21, 2020.
