‘Cousin Brucie’ Leaving SiriusXM

• Legendary air personality Bruce “Cousin Brucie” Morrow announced he would be stepping away from his twice-weekly show on SiriusXM’s 60s On 6. Morrow, a 1988 inductee into the Radio Hall Of Fame, made the announcement on-air Wednesday evening, telling his fans that Saturday’s show would be his last on the satcaster.

In a statement, a SiriusXM spokesperson said, “After broadcasting on SiriusXM since 2005, Cousin Brucie has chosen to step away from the mic. After many amazing years broadcasting on SiriusXM, and a celebrated career of more than 60 years in radio, we wish Brucie the best in any future endeavor.”

As reported by TheWrap.com, the 84-year-old Morrow, who cemented his legend status during his lengthy run at the late MusicRadio 77 WABC/New York, and a later stint at WCBS-FM/New York, hinted that he isn’t completely done with radio, and told his listeners to check his Facebook page for future updates.
