Delgado Wakes Up DC On The Drive

• As we initially reported in today’s issue of RAMP, Corinna Delgado, who had been doing middays on the now dark Cumulus Hot AC WRQX (Mix 107.3)/Washington has successfully navigated her way across the street — and into a great new gig — at Entercom Classic Hits WIAD (94.7 The Drive) as morning co-host. Delgado made her Drive debut Tuesday morning, plugged in across the console from host Jason Kidd (another WRQX vet).

Prior to her transfer to middays on WRQX in September 2018, Delgado had been doing weekends and fill-in on Top 40 sister KRBE/Houston since 2014. Born and raised in Anchorage, AK, Delgado began her radio career at KMVN (MOViN 105.7)/Seattle. Ms. Delgado also is a military veteran, having proudly served in the U.S. Army Reserves as a Combat Medic from 1995-2001.

“I am beyond excited to have Corinna join 94.7 The Drive,” said Steve Davis, VP of Programming for Entercom DC and PD of The Drive and WPGC. “She is an incredible talent with an unbelievable resume… and the fact she is a former Army combat medic will keep Jason Kidd in line.”
