‘Diva’s In The District!’

Radio One Urban WKYS/Washington welcomes Dominique Da Diva to the family as its new midday personality. In making the formal introductions, WKYS PD Joshua “J1” Raiford said, “Dominique is a superstar, hands-down, but what makes her so great, on top of her talent is her energy, positivity and strong work ethic. I’m excited and pleased to have her on the KYS team.”

Dominique began her radio career in her hometown of Richmond, VA as an intern with WBTJ (106.5 The Beat). After graduating from Virginia State University in 2010 with a Bachelor’s in Communications, Dominique was offered a weekend spot on The Beat. She later landed in middays at WOWI (103 Jamz)/Norfolk, VA. Since last year she has been living in Los Angeles, hosting Diva Unfiltered on Dash Radio and overseeing the launch her own app, Da Daily Dirt.
